It's a lulu.

What a funny phrase. I'm going to use it all day long.

 How are you doing today, My Dear? The day, well, it's gonna be a lulu.

And the weekend--how was that? Oh man, it was a totally effing lulu of a weekend. 

The word is everywhere...I'm currently reading Lulu Meets God and Doubts Him. And frankly, I actually doubt the quality of the book. It is no lulu.

The concept of the story is alright, but the writing is gimmicky and contrived. Chick-lit-ish.

How do so many bad first time novels get published? Depresses me. But I've committed to a friend as well as my time-- a few hours worth of scanning pages so far. It won't last too much longer.

Then onto Michel Houellebecq. Yeah--some Frenchie style sex and violence and racism will be the much welcomed antidote.
